COLUMBIA, S.C. – Abu Garcia announced today the bass fishing professional angler team for 2013. Included on the list are Bassmaster Classic Champions, FLW Champions, Anglers of the Year and the 2010 and 2011 B.A.S.S. Rookies of the Year.
The 26-member team will be competing in the B.A.S.S. Elite Series, B.A.S.S. Opens, FLW tournaments and PAA events. Newcomers to the Abu Garcia lineup are Fletcher Shryock, Keith Poche, Josh Bertrand and Larry Draughn.
Draughn is a former U.S. Marine Corporal injured in Afganistan, losing both legs and two fingers in his right hand. Draughn will be angling in the B.A.S.S. Open tournaments from a custom bass boat designed to aid his maneuverability on the water.

The latest additions to the Abu Garcia team join an illustrious group of fishing pros including former Classic Champion Mike Iaconelli and reigning champion Chris Lane. Iaconelli has also earned B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year awards. Ott Defoe was a B.A.S.S. Rookie of the Year award winner. Scott Suggs and Brent Ehler are former FLW Cup champions.
