Great rod and reel combo
Always casted smooth had good action on both fish I caught with it before losing it into the lake. Had to happen on Father’s Day too. But great pole bought another to replace this one because I enjoyed it so much.

Value Combo
If your looking for a great combo check this one out. Landed plenty of fish first time out with no issues. Make sure you set the brake and spool tension per your lure!

Love the set up.

Terrific value
Smooth casting reel. May feel a little heavy for some otherwise a wonderful feel smooth retrieve.
The rod cast well.
Would definitely recommend to others.
I also own the Abu Garcia Black max and you can certainly tell the difference although the Black Max is still tremendous at its price point. Can’t go wrong with an ABU reel or combo.
