Good rod and everything sounds great. Breaks work fantastic. The packaging on the rod was opened thats the only con of the whole thing amazing would definetly buy again.

Best fishing gear.

I was sent out of the box, a bent reel crank that I needed to fix and have them send me a new one. Take it all apart and fix it and then, on the first fish I caught (fresh water pickerel), the tip of the rod snapped off and ruined my fishing trip.

I have over 50 rods and reels and only two rod tips ever broke and both were from Abu Garcia. Their quality control is apparently non existent. What a waste of my time and money.

I was sent the casting combo with a completely bent reel crank. After threatening emails, because I as told it could only be fixed in 5-6 weeks, they sent out a new reel crank shaft. Today, was the first day using the rod and reel and the first fish, a fresh water pickerel, the rod tip snapped off as I retrieved the fish from the water.

My father always said you get what you pay for. So this bargain cost rod and reel set turned out to be a complete disaster. I had to fix the reel and now I have a broken rod. Thank you Abu Garcia for your quality craftsmanship.

Excellent product, arrived on time, I can't wait to fish with it. Very satisfied.
