This thing casts insanely far and is very smooth. With most reels that have line already on them when you buy them the line is very curly and hard to cast but it wasn't that way with this one. This combo with a r2s whopper plopper tied on has caught me many bass and my 2nd largest large mouth.

Great setup for someone looking to get into bass or pike fishing. The combo comes pre-spooled with line and has enough capacity to handle large fish. Sensitivity of the rod is great for the price.
