Bought the Spinning Combo. Love the action, love the reel. within a month the bale screw (quite literally) fell out into the river while I was standing in the river! this was subsequent to the rod cracking at the connection and flying off in the water! Nicer looking equipment, smooth, but not durable. Trying to get hold of Abu is impossible to get a part or a warranty replacement.

I bought this a couple months ago to take on a fishing trip. Used it once before I went on the trip and it worked fine. Got to my fishing destination and the bale screw had fallen out and the screw and bale were missing. Not a great showing from Abu Garcia. Hopefully they find a fix for this.

We bought this for our grandson. He used it for one day & the handle of the reel fell off. He was so disappointed. He is avid fisherman who loves to fish.

It casts very far, however the line likes to tangle in the air, i have multiple rods and this is the only rod to ever do this to me, so i changed the line on it to see if maybe that was the issue, nope didnt solve it... Stopped using it because it was frustrating.. then i had the rod propped on the wall and the cat knocked it over and it broke to 4 pieces.. cheaply made rod.. would not recommend.
