Great Reel!
I have only used this reel on a few Muskie trips but it has performed very well with no issues. Landed one nice Musky so far and hopefully many more to come. I have always had great performance from Abu Garcia reels.

Reel started to fail during 3rd day of use. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!! ANSWER THE PHONE!!!
I spent a day trying to get through to customer service for Warranty answers. I needed a quick solution before an upcoming fishing trip. They left me hanging. I have another Beast that has been great for many years. But it seems like the quality isn't the same in all of the Abu Garcia products in recent years. I think Pure Fishing is going to bring all of these once great companies down. The quality is just not the same. I owned a Shimano rod that broke after 7 years of abuse, and Shimano answered the phone when I called and sent me out a new (and upgraded) rod for 50% of the MSRP. I had it by the end of the week and I was able to fish with it the next weekend after breaking the other one. That's how I wish Abu was. I have always been a fan of Abu Garcia. 90% of my reels are Abu Garcia, but it's just not the same. Sad.
