I got the dock skipping rod and its really nice and lightweight, love the size, but the guides are crooked and dont line up properly. The first one is very off center. It doesn't really seem to affect the performance that I can tell its just a visual thing. Even at the price point of this rod the guides should be straight and lined up. Other than that I really like this rod, just wish the guides lined up.

I bought one spinning and one casting rod. Both have been fantastic. They are very sensitive, light, and deliver great hooksets. I will be buying more.

Seems like a good quality rod but they definitely need better quality control. Some of the eyelets are significantly out of line.

So for I like the rod. I was a little disappointed that the tip was not faster but it will work. Quality is good and very comparable to the Varitas rods I have
