I read the reviews about damaged rods and reels but I thought “that won’t happen to me”. Long story short the handle of the reel was super bent, but the shipping box didn’t look damaged. I have to think this was bent before the shipping and no one noticed it. Either way I’m disappointed. I took the reel handle off and bent it back to the right position in my vise. I’m not asking for a refund because everyone else said there was no response. Moral of the story is just buy in the store so you know what you are getting.

It is awsome, put 12lb mono on it and can cast far and accurate. The reel is smooth and the rod is strong. Would definitely recommend this setup if your on a budget.

I recently purchased two baitcast combo's at an amazing price that I thought was to good to be true.
I have fished with them every time I've went out the last couple of weeks and I love them.

Rod is strong enough to pole vault in the Olympics. Reel has done nothing but impress with the smoothness of 1000 bearings. 10/10 for value rod. Buy it.

Received rod and reel but the reel fittings on bottom are cracked. My second rod reel combo. Faulty.
