Smooth
I used the reels while fishing in windy conditions and they performed really well. Very minimal backlashing. Smoothness of retrieve was great. Handles have a good feel.

Only suggestion is that the gear ratio is lower than I am used to but reel performance is spot on.

Jordan Lee baitcaster reel
My favorite real i've ever owned. Bought one for my brother and nephew. Now it's their favorite reel. We now have all bought more of them. I have over 7. Giving for gifts to share my find. Hope Abu Garcia keeps making them. Would be a shame to discontinue.
